I am currently in Playa Del Carmen, taking a break from my life.
Its been quite a unique experience. I am getting my scuba license. Its a pretty unique achivement.
However, I wish I would’ve done some salsa dancing. This bar up the street has free salsa dancing classes.
Scuba has been quite fascinating. The reefs are incredible here. The first day was rough. I had to spend some time in the pool… and it was super cold. But then we moved onto a boat that took us to the reefs. I learned how to do a backwards dive into the ocean. I felt like quite the professional.
Descending was tough. I had some hard pain in my forehead. I think it was sinuses. After I worked through that, we descended deeper. I saw lots of incredible fish, including a turtle and lots of Moray eels.
